Focused on developing the WHOLE ATHLETE, the Summer Speed and Athletic Development program at Milwaukee Lutheran High School utilizes a comprehensive plan to develop elite athleticism. MLHS Strength Coach Kyle Barth, Head Football Coach Chip Wylie, and Head Boys Basketball Coach Marcus Jackson design workouts for participants to become better ATHLETES across ALL SPORTS, utilizing traditional and revolutionary strength and athleticism building movements and strategies. Many other MLHS coaches also lead to help teach, guide and motivate athletes through their workouts so they are safe and experience growth and success. The purpose is to lead athletes in developing quickness, strength, coordination, flexibility, jumping and endurance. The MLHS Field House, Weight Room and Outdoor Track provide great venues for this program. All Milwaukee Lutheran Athletes are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to utilize this program. Please bring necessary clothes, shoes, and a water bottle to each session. Even those new to strength and athletic training should feel comfortable to learn as coaches will take the time to teach and oversee safety and growth in all athletes.
